Ballast Front grill and front weights

The B9200 I recently bought is in pretty good shape for a tractor that is 17 years old. One thing that is unsightly on it though is the front grill. The outside frame of the grill is plastic, and it has cracked with age. I've thought about seeing what it would cost to have the frame fabricated at a local sheet metal shop. Does anyone have one in good shape for sale?

Also, does anyone have any front weights for a smaller tractor like this that they are looking to part with? I checked the prices on new weights, and at close to $1 per pound they seem high.

Weights from Kubota will cost you approx. $1 per pound. Do a search many on this board have some very interesting and cost effective front weights.

I have BX2200 and just priced the weight bracket and 3(each) 55lb. Kubota suitcase weights and the price was $325.00 for both Bracket and Weights! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Tell your dealer they don't have to be orange! I just swapped my BX1800 for a 2200 since my warrenty was getting ready to expire on the 1800. I made my own weight bracket and used 25# 1" bore steel weight lifting plates, got tired of this setup and told the dealer I wanted the weight bracket and weights, he quoted me $270 for the Kubota bracket and 3 weights I told him it didn't have to be Kubota. He had another weight supplier who had the bracket and weights which cost $198 they are on order right now.
