trying to locate a used front end loader to fit my Case/David Brown 885. preferably in a 150 mi radius of Knoxville, TN

If you run out of luck finding a used one, I know GB makes a 330 that fits your tractor. Every tractor dealer in my area is a GB dealer so you should find one close to you. I finally got my 260 yesterday, waited alittle over two months but I think well werth it, You ought to see my commercal bucket, man it's hevy duty, don't think I can bend this one.
