This happened today. I think the part in my hand is the arm steering knuckle. How do I remove the part from there to hub. Do you beat it out like a ball joint? Don't wanna tear anything up.

You should be able to drive it out. I have hammered down on the hub with success. What caused it to break?

I'm seeing a seal that is right at the break. You will need to remove the seal and inspect what is below that. I'm guessing it's a snap ring- which would be hard to see with all the grease. Something has to hold that in if the front wheel is unweighted.
*as stated above- this is a guess based on my experiences

Not really sure. It's been screeching some but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Greased it all up real good. Moved a trailer with ball mounted on bucket and noticed it broke when headed back to house.

I sure hate that happen to you. The sector shaft on my Kioti snap just like that. Kioti wanted $650 and the part was not available. They suggested I by a new power steering unit for $3800. I bought a sector shaft for a Kabota that fit and worked perfectly. It seems like the quality of steel used these days is not near as good as it was back on the farm. I don't remember ever having failures like this.

Didn't know Kubota parts would fit a Kioti. Truth be told I'd never heard of Kioti til I got on TBN.

Kabota said it wouldn't work as well. But it was worth the $230 to find out. It fit perfectly with no modifications. That was about 2 years ago and haven't had a problem since. Sometimes you get lucky. Lol
