I’d like to hear more about your tree farm. Do you sell trees, and how do you irrigate?

UPDATE.....kinda,
Dealer called us and said they received the new rear front axle pivot.

No grease fitting on it neither.

Broke the hundred hour mark on the LS as we finally put our last trees in the ground.

My dealer cautioned me about "over-pressurizing" that zerk and blowing out the seal.
How could you tell if that seal is blown?
When I grease mine, it shoots out from between the two halves very quickly, seems/feels odd to me, not like greasing other points.

Yep, probably blown seal. I can only get maybe one squirt of grease in there ....none oozes out.

The front pivot is greasing a bushing inside the cap so not much clearance for grease and it won't take much. The seal there is an o-ring so probably wouldn't take much to push grease past it. Your rear pivot is lubricated by the differential oil.

That makes perfect sense.... with no grease zerk to be found on the rear front pivot and the drive line going right threw the pivot itself.... DUH on me🤬

"The rear pivot is lubricated by the differential oil"

Why has my dealer not figured this out or told me this..... Would have saved a ton of time and frustration.

Thank you PCABE5 👍

Thank you PCABE5

Don't thank me yet, because that is what New Holland dealership told me about my Boomer 40 (XR 3140). I need to look at the parts exploded view for the models to verify that.

Did some looking at the boomer 40 parts blow up on there front 4wd axle.

They do not show a grease zerk on the rear half of the pivot for the boomer...

Then looking at the XR3140h parts blow up of the same pic it shows a zerk and a bushing/seal in the stack of stuff that goes in/on the pinion and pivot.

In the same location in the stack of parts the boomer just has a 'bushing' not a bushing/seal indicating the arrangement let's oil from the pumpkin flow into the pivot.

I think the XR3140H has the boomer 40 style axle pivot
