Front axle oil

What kind of oil goes in the front axle?

Apparently...at least for a "D"...Bobcat has some "special sauce" for the front/rear transaxles. P/N is 6687120 and the given quantity is 5.54 qt. for each axle. Bobcat hyd fluid has a different p/n.

I have tried to actually find the specs for this fluid (P/N 6687120) but have been unsuccessful.

I hate this proprietary garbage. It's probably something like Dexron III with .5 tsp. of K-Y Jelly per qt. The K-Y is for the customer when they pay for it.

Whoa! Here's some late-breaking news directly from the Bobcat's mouth:

"Normally it is $7.55 a quart. We are running a 15% off special so youæ±*e looking at $6.42 if you order by April 3rd."

My dealer emailed me with this info upon my RFQ.
