Freight Charges

Are there freight and predelivery charges added to the price of the tractor (2520 and implements) over and above the price of John Deere’s web configuration tool? I see many posts of people getting 15% or more off from the configuration tool’s price. Are they paying an additional freight and predelivery charge over and above that price? I know there will be sales tax, but the freight charges on the quote caught me off guard.

I did not pay freight or predelivery charges or set-up charges on my 4310 and attachments purchased at better than 15% off list. Discuss it with the dealer. Is he incurring out of the ordinary freight charges because he is getting your tractor from another dealer or not including your tractor on a standard (consolidated) shipment?
