Well, since the alternative is paying 5-7k for a loader, I don't really care much about semantics. Pound for pound, the combination of tractor and loader is a much better deal than most brands selling this size of CUT.

That's great so long as you don't mind a rebranded tractor sold by a company with a track history of walking away from marketing partners.
Your comparables are RK and Mahindra, not Deere or Kubota.

I don't mind. Bobcat has been around a long time. So has Daedong. I have no fears of parts or service into the future.

Why is kubota or JD not a comparable?

My opinion only. Your decision doesn't affect me one way or another. My selection of comparables is based on them being outsourced machines made available through finite marketing agreements. When Doosan decides to develop their own tractor or exit the tractor business ((again) Bobcat tractor owners will own orphans. Just like Cabela tractor owners are now and Rural King tractor owners will be.
There's another thread here with a guy lamenting the fact that Kioti doesn't supply seal kits for his loader cylinders. Mahindra has done the same thing with some of its backhoes and loaders; no soft parts, you get to replace entire components or figure out something else. This kind of non-support is why those brands will always be also rans popular with folks concerned with price points and little else.

Doosan? Who is that? Daedong owns Kioti and makes the Bobcats also.

Likewise, your decision to not like them does not affect me. Don't think price as only concern is legit either. I looked at hydraulic capacity, serviceability, operator station/ controls layout, tire sizes, price, and several little cool features like chain slot on bucket, valve stem gaurds, remote 3ph lever, ign key cover, weight.

Time will tell about long term support. I am no a pessimist about that i guess.

Kioti parts are expensive. But so are some of the other brands. They also do not support the older tractors like my LK2554. I have been able to retrofit parts to keep it going. I can only imagine that Bobcat will be the same. That said, I would not be afraid of either but just know it can be difficult as time goes on.

For what it is worth, using that logic, JD is outsourced, too, at least vis-a-vis CUTs.

It did happen though. For quite some time, the only JD CUTs available in Europe, or at least some countries of Europe, were just rebadged Goldoni tractors with the expensive green paint. From 30 to 60 HP, along with a specialized line for vineyards and orchards.

Then, when Goldoni went out of business a couple years ago, the support for these tractors became pretty much non existent. JD didn't even bother to upload the parts book for these tractors on their online parts catalog, let alone keep any parts for those.

Goldoni has now been resurrected by a Belgium investor but I don't think they will bring any support for these older tractors.

Bobcat "Free" loader offer renewed 10/01/2021 and ends 12/31/2021.

Only tractor the local Bobcat dealer had on the lot all summer was a single CT1021. I drove by and looked at it but never talked to anyone as they close at 4PM.

Couple weeks ago I got off work early so I stopped to get a price on a CT2025 MST. $15,850 cash, but no stock and no idea when they would have have one available.

BTW: I asked if they had sold the CT1021, they hadn't, they transfered it to their newly opened "tractors only" store in Arkansas that did not have any inventory.
