free limit chains

At lunch today I went out into the shop/maintenance yard a tthe co. I work at, and was poking around. Out of the scrap pile i found a decent piece of 1/4 plate, and a couple 40" chain lengths. A few minutes with the plasma cutter and mig welder, and I had a set of limit chains. ( The ones from the toplink area to the implement pins, to set an implements max depth.. etc. Topling bracket has a chain 'slot' cut in it.. to adjust the chain.. etc.

Not pretty.. in fact.. very ugle.. but also very functional.. and very free..

Some of the best things in life are free. I got my wife for free,it was'nt till we had kids that things started to get expensive.Then a motgage and car payments,crop insurance,life insurance,retirement plans and nowadays everything is expensive.It makes you appreciate the little things you find for free.
