free/easy dvd player for pc?

Did you try that codec pack for Media Player that I linked to, by chance? I haven't found a video that I can't play in Media Player since I loaded that.

I saw that it was listed for Vista, so i didn't download it... will it work on XP as well? And what ver of MP does it need? I'm guessing her ver is not the latest.

I'm running it on several machines with XP and all the service packs/updates from Microsoft. I have yet to see a machine with Vista.... fortunately.
