Hi
I have a Fred Cain 5' bush hog what speed should I put the pto in 540 or 1000
and where should I keep the rpm. I have a Farm Pro 2420

The speed select lever should be set in the 540 position, and the engine RPMs should be set high enough for the tachometer needle to be in the green zone. That's assuming your FarmPro has a tach. If not - on the Chinese tractors I've owned - that's generally somewher between 3/4 and 7/8 throttle.
