four wheel drive F18

Just got an F18 and I need to know how to shift the 4wheel drive. The Hoye manual shows a shift lever that's not there on this tractor.

Hi, i have a F18D (the D means 4 wheel drive). The lever is in on the floor next to the transmission tunnel on the left hand side, just slides forwards (4wd) and backward (2wd).

Do you have an F18 (two-wheel drive) or F18D (four-wheel drive)? F18D has a very obvious, short lever on the left side of the transmission hump, near where your left heel rests when not pressing the clutch. Just press your clutch down, slide the lever to 4WD and away you go... Just be sure to put it back into 2WD whenever you're on hard-pack, pavement, etc...
