FYI snowflake...everything I posted was in direct response to you calling the OP's comment "garbage"..

Also FYI...the federal wildlife service usually euthanize wild animals that have made contact with humans rather than releasing them back into the wild...something you have admitted (likely illegally) doing...which makes you no better than this moron:

Everything I did was so the animal/s could return to the wild, and successfully done with LEO's blessing. Not doomed to be euthanized or a pen for the rest of it's life. Big difference when emotion is taken out the process and no bogus feel good excuses. Keep reading the headlines tho.

Since you can't seem to get the value of learning about wild dogs and the fact that Sandy was always free to go, until we took her to Southwest, and since you are unable to understand the story, maybe you should try to get your kicks somewhere else. Just go away. Then you won't have to hear anymore about Sandy.

There are a lot of us who are very interested in wild dog behaviour, learning and the plight of the coyote. It's OK if you are not. Just leave it alone. Bye bye. By being so negative you clearly demonstrate and re-inforce one of the points I've made throughout this thread. Like a few others, you clearly don't get it and don't want to. None of Sandy's story has anything to do with you starting an argument or deciding what's right for an animal you never met.

... folks can't let nature take it's course.

This is not a reliable measure of how to act, as Nature can be very cruel.

Last year birds were nesting above my front door. The adult flew into a window and was killed. The chick was no longer being fed and was so distressed it jumped out of the nest and landed on the concrete below. That is when I first noticed it. I hoped another adult would take it in, which of course is foolish. While I was hoping for a result that would never come, that chick suffered and eventually died the next day. I let nature take its course-- but it was not the most humane thing to do. I should not have let nature take its course. I should have dropped a brick on that chick and stopped its suffering.

So, circumstances matter.
