Found a 1992(ish) 4wd 1070 with FEL... 1100 hours looks pretty good. I haven't had a chance to crank it up and drive it, but I plan on it. Asking price is $10500. How does that sound to you seasoned John Deere pros?

I suggest you go see the tractor ASAP as it may not last long. If you get there and it's a POS, you can always walk away.
Do operate it, of course. IIRC, this tractor has a 9 speed (3 speeds each range and three ranges) and probably a dual stage clutch.

Wow. nice buy. i got mine in 1994 .4x4 with FEL for 19500. it has 650 hrs now on it with no problems at all. 17 years later.
