Have now about 180 hrs on the Foton, and am all over quite chuffed with it. Gear change is a bit rough, likewise to engage shuttle and hi-low, but am getting used to that. It starts without problems, and runs well. With snow chains it's unstoppable. Had some earth works done here, and after heavy rain one area was just a bog with a slightly harder crust. Tried the tractor over there, but that was not too smart as it sank to the axles on the rear wheels, and the front wheels disappeared. Thought I was stuck good, but in 4WD with the diff lock engaged I got out.
Had a slight hiccup with the electrical. When using all the lights early one morning the cabin filled with smoke from the wiring, and after a while no lights were working. Not sure what happened, and it is in for repairs.
So. considering the favourable price, I think it was a very good investment.
