New 3240 arriving next week:) I just got off the phone with my dealer, QA Kubota forks will cost me $1300.00 Canadian, I feel like building my own set for 1/4 the price? Does anyone know were I can get skidsteer quick attach plates in Ontario Canada? I see them on ebay but getting them shipped to Canada probably will cost me more than the plate.

Also does anyone have ideas or pics to share to give me ideas?

Thanks
Guy

I also have been thinking about building my own set of forks. My main use for them is to move logs, and the width adjustability doesn't seem to be a big deal. My plan was to use some 5" wide C-channel, flat side facing up for the forks & the same C-channel for the frame. On the sides, I thought of some 3/8" flat steel cut in a triangle shape to hold everything together.

Good idea! I would like to have them adjustable thought, one of the reasons is to haul a cord of wood that I would pile on a pallet, I figure I will need several pallets. Once the wood is cut and pilled on the pallet, I will bring it in a shed to dry, with the tractor of course, in the fall I will move it to the attached garage for the burning season. Still dabating if I should build a set or just bite the bullet and buy kubota forks, I just find them expensive.
