Forks for JD 460 FEL

List price on mine was $1020 at the time. I paid $810.

Cowboy Doc,

How much can you actually lift with those forks? I'll need to lift 3000lb pallets of stone - and I fear that is too much for the 460 - mounted on a 4710.

I doubt that you can lift more than 1,000 lbs of stone on a pallet with forks on the 460 FEL. The manual reccommends no more than a 700 lb hay bale with a hay spear so the limit with the forks will be similar.

I lift 2000 lb. bales with mine. I lift them up and into round bale feeders. I've done thousands with it and no problems.

Dealer told me these forks are rated at 1,800lbs lift capacity. However, he also mentioned customers he has had have lifted 2,000-3,000lbs. Lifting 3,000lb+ consistently may be pushing it a bit.
