Hi, can anyone direct me to a pic I saw some time ago? A forklift on the forks of another lifting some containers in a mill or factory. I was on a forklift course last week and I was telling the guys and they won't believe me *L* Thanks in advance. FRED

OKKKKKKKK. I drove forklifts for 18 years of and on, 12 solidly on the saddle, but this is just plain down stupid. Is that a human on the first lift between the mast and the second lift..............for some reason I kept typing life instead of lift..............

Yeah, his job is to hold the smaller forklift on the larger's forks.

How could Darwin have been correct if people like this are seeming to reproduce?

I have serious issues to deal with now... in the fetal position... with my blanky... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That second picture triggered a flashback from 30+ years ago when I worked in construction.

My first day with a contractor who did insurance repairs I was 30 feet up in the rafters of an old haybarn that had been lifted and slightly distorted by a tornado. A dual stage forklift was pushing up the joist I was standing on, using a 4 x 4 up from the top of the first stage of its mast, while its second stage independently was used to push up a rafter above my head using another 4 x 4. I was supposed to re-nail everything when it was aligned properly.

I looked down to see why the foreman operating this unfamiliar rented forklift was ignoring my hand signals. I discovered he was busy sipping from a hip flask due to the extreme cold. I should have quit on the spot.
