I believe that the rear sits higher so when there is a load or a trailer it sits level rather then sagging in the back

Obviously they left it out because it did better than both. They "conveniently" left it in the drag race since it has the lowest power output but the new HO 800 lb.ft. option will leave them both behind. I've loaded plenty of 1-ton RAM's to know it would easy win the squat test and RAM's have had a fully boxed frame since 2003. Just wait for Rumble in the Rockies II. :cool:

Hey, I'm a Ram guy too, and I do think they're super tough trucks and are the winner right now. However, the thing I dislike is how easily it squats with payload. This is a 2011 2500 CTD 4x4 crew SWB...we loaded 32 50lb bags in the truck loose....thats 1600lbs, and it was evenly stacked and went perfectly to the bedrails around the whole bed. It squatted about as much as with our 2003 Chevy 2500 ext LWB 4x4....except the chevy had it on a pallet loaded at the very back. Same exact load, plus pallet and at the very back of the bed. And yes I've been around plenty 3/4 - 2 ton trucks of all makes, they're all great trucks and I think this is Dodge's main weak point. Other than that I happen to love the truck.
