Ford Super Duty 6.2L Mileage?

I actually looked mine up today at my bank branch. They had my 2012 FX4 SuperCrew with the EcoBoost and 52,000 miles at $36,350

Not bad considering we only paid $38,000 for it in 2011. It stickered at $45,000 but rebates and such brought it down.

With the high resale values I am seeing, I am now pricing new trucks as a reference point. And I may be better off purchasing new with some rebates when available, like when the 2016s are available.

So for moderately equipped XLTs with not too many fancy things, I am getting ~ $44k for each truck type. But the F150 SC w/8' bed requires a 5.0L engine, per Ford's building site. Yet TrailerLife.com's 2015 data shows a long bed SC with the 3.5 TC and 11,700 tow rating. I will have to play around at the Ford site. But while configuring the F150, I had a lot of things with mandatory changes- deletes, adds, etc. when trying to configure the same as the F250 and I did not have these problems when building a F250. So I guess I will just have to find the magic buttons to get what I want in a F150. But again, it was not an issue when configuring what I wanted in a F250.

NM. I found the 3.5 TC option.
