1955 Ford 850
I have a 1955 850 and I'm wondering in a Dearborn Model 19-8A loader will fit on it without major modifications. Any experience with these things, anyone? Thanks ahead of time.

it's made for a N series... I'd expect some modifications for the front mount, and the rear mounts. I'm sure a welder and torch would likely make it work.

the original front bracket is the classic 'hanger' bracket which is a bracket attached to the kingpin.. later 00/01 series used a different front bolster that had their own method for attaching loaders.. rear mount points will be the rear axle fender mounts.. so similar setup.. just might have to lengthen the laoder frame..

Thanks a lot Soundguy. I thought that might be the case. For the price being asked for the loader, I want it to bolt right up. I appreciate the input.

not a bolt in replacement. even if you made the front hanger work as is.. the length of the tractor is a few inches different.. so would have to be stretched.
