Ford 6600 or 6610

If you had to choose what would you go for?

I have a 5600 already and love it but am looking for a second tractor. Don't need nothing but the same really.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

I've heard, but not from personal experience, that 6610's had engine block porosity issues

All the ford diesels are subject to cavitation issues. I don't think that is anything specific to the 6610. I'd go with the one in better condition. All things equal in that regard, then the 6610, for the simple fact that they are newer. Depending on options, the 6610 could have much better hydraulics and a synchro trans..
