ford 4500 injector pump

i have a ford 4500 with a 201 diesel engine. I had the injector pump rebuilt about 10 years ago has less then 120hrs since. checked oil yesterday and over full. Front injector seal leaking into crankcase. Has anybody pulled the front drive off of pump to replace seal. Looks pretty easy my only question is when you pull off drive hub off pump shaft splines will it only go back one way or can you get it out of time? Other then that pump is good a shop wants to rebuild whole pump .

haven't taken pump off yet just trying to get parts first. can you buy just the seal?i haven't found it anywhere. is it some thing special or is or is it just a regular lip seal or do i need to tear it it a part first and try and match the seal

is there only one seal or are there two a couple sites claim that you need two on front input shaft?

Take it apart and order what u need..
If u have a tapered shaft with a 7/8” nut, it can be 1 or 2..
If u have a drive hub w an Allan screw in the center and 3 -1/2” bolts holding the drive gear to the pump.. there’s only 1 seal..
If u have one that takes 2 seals, the p# is 5393-252R..
And the one seal is 5393-252U..
U should find the tear down and rebuild manual online, otherwise u need to send it off..
