Ultra, Yes I know i need to bathe the poor girl (her name is Blue BTW), been on my list of to do's! I know where it is leaking by the clean spots! There is no question it is leaking from that cover, only one flat head screw holding the plate on... It is more of a gushing flow than a leak. Seriously here is a vid of the leak in action No joy on the vid.... This is getting odd now, I popped open the fill cap bolt on the tranny, and it is almost to the top of the transmission now. It is 2 inches higher than it was this morning, no one has added anything. can old UTF expand like crazy? maybe has water in it? I smelled it again, and I am sure it is UTF, smells "sweeter" than diesel, also oily feeling.

Oddly enough I drove it just a minute ago and the clutch is acting fine, no slippage. See vid and pic. Ooh never mind cant post mp4s from my phone...

You have water in the oil. The transmission case and rear axle are normally separated. I think you have got water mixed fluid in the rear axle that somehow is getting into the transmission.
How is the level in the rear axle?
Do you have a separate pump for extra hydraulics?
Have you been connecting any extra hydraulics that could have been adding fluid?
Have you been connecting any extra hydraulics that has there own valves, maybe borrowed equipment?

If I may say this is a kick butt forum, thanks for the help guys!
Hakan-- No major changes to tractor in the last six months, besides oil changes. See video of leak here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_wNtqfgVr0

The poor girl was left out in the rain last week though. I will go check level in back axle. Think it would be prudent to drain it and start over? What are the odds the seals are ok and it is just blow by from too much fluid and water?
?

Soundguy-- the 1st photo gives an idea where it is, see yellow arrow. Big tire in back and small tire is front (that's a mr obvious statement if I ever heard one).

...

Getting smart with the one guy on this board that can probably help you the most is probably not the brightest move you made today

To me it looks like diesel is coming from above (leaking tap or lines), running behind the starter and is blowing around a little from the airflow that the flywheel/gear ring is making, or it is just the cooling fan.
Your transmission cover seems to be covered in diesel as well. If so, it is a fire hazard and you need to get the leak sorted and wash the tractor properly.

Lil Ranch-- Please understand I appreciate all the help I find in forums. I meant no disrespect to Sound, my "captain obvious" statement was actually making fun of my own stupidity for typing that line about the tires even though they are clearly in the photo I posted with the original question. I guess it came out wrong. It was meant as a "Duh!" statement at myself. Sarcasm at ones own expense as a joke can be so hard to convey in type.. Everyone in here has been really very helpful and as I already said I appreciate them very much for helping me on this.

Hakan, Good eyes, there is in fact a leak, very small at the CAV pump inlet. I recently replaced the CAV pump and I could not find a new crushwasher to seal in line, had to reuse the old seal, and there is a micro leak there. It has actually gotten a little worse last week, wasn't that wet before, really comes out in the video though. It is on my list of to do's. had not really thought of it as a fire hazard, but you are correct, on my to do sooner rather than later list now. Thanks for the heads up.

Hakan, would the differntial have a seal between it and the transmission? Why would water get into the differential specifically? Is the fluid coming out the timing cover indicate a blown tranny seal? If i change the UTF and differential would it help? Everyone else please chime in.

If anyone missed it as it was buried in a longer response, this is the video of the leak at the cover, more of a gusher really...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_wNtqfgVr0

If i was to see a leak like this on a jeep or a porsche or a vdub (my specialties), I would say I was FUBAR. Hoping for a different result on the tractor...Break it to me gently fellas.

I have looked at the video, on a proper screen now. I was wrong about a leak that made diesel running behind the starter and down. Now it looks as diesel is coming pass the inspection cover, or from above it? If the fluid was water, then a leaking freeze plug could be the answer, but diesel? I have no idea.
How is the water level in the radiator?

Water in the rear axle is mainly from humid air condensing on the inner surface of the rear axle housing. Extra hydraulics may add water to the rear axle as well.

You have two shafts going out of the transmission case into the rear axle, both sealed.
Here is a picture, the red circle indicates the draining hole in the belly, it usuallly has a cotter pin to keep it cleared:
