I have recently put an aftermarket double spool bank on my ford 4000 diesel, I had the orignal ford single spool da on before and it worked fine, but since I've put the new one it's give nothing but problems, it's same fitment as orignal, it seem as there is to much back pressure with the new one on, I have to keep dropping the lift control lever for it to release pressure on the spools etc I'll attach a pic of it below see if anyone has the same one, or problems

You have to "drop the 3 pt lift to relieve pressure on the spools". It sounds like there is a valve or something on the spool valves that is not in the correct position, such as a single to double spool valve lever or a check valve missing.

Also wondering if you have all of the orings in place under the valve

The valve looks similar to the after market 3 spool we installed on our 1964 5000 an Orval. In the picture It looks like there is only one line to the top spool for a single acting cylinder. If that is the case I believe you need to open the T valve on top of the spool assembly to allow it to work properly. All three spools are working fine on our tractor. By the way I wish our paint job looked as good as yours.
