Ford 3910 Front Axle Swap

Was wonder if one of the guys who has wrenched extensively on these older 10 series Fords knows whether the 4610 (2wd) axle will swap into a 3910. I'm looking at a 3910 right now and being aware that it isn't really stout enough for loader work got me thinking. Thanks in advance for any info!

This looks like the whole setup. Doesn't seem like too much money in order to run a loader (with heavier loads) on a 3910. Might be able to find cheaper if patient.

That is a start. Add the correct steering box, grille shell, drag link, power steering lines and you are good to go.

FWIW the eBay stuff is from an AP model, not an SU. The OP already has an SU style front axle.

Thank you so much for the info! I was thinking it was miss posted as I was under the impression the su was the light duty version (as you confirmed). Now I just need to get the tractor and then keep an eye out for the front end parts.
