Ford 3400 Ignition switch replacement

Helping a friend of a friend with a no start Ford 3400 gas. Turns over if jump direct from the battery to the S terminal on the solenoid so I guessing it the ignition switch. Does anybody know if the ignition switch can be replaced without pulling the dash panel that the steering column go through?

I do not know, but please do respond when you complete the fix.
I have a gas 3400 TLB, so could you please PM me with the info, in case it should happen to me.
I am far from my tractor for the winter, so cannot go look at mine.

Yes it can. There should be just enough slack in the harness to get it down below the cowl.
