Ford 3000 3 Point Hitch Sagging

Hi all,

I just bought a Ford 3000 Tractor I think about a 72 model. This is my first tractor and not 100% sure on all operations, but have a good understanding of engine, electrical, and hydraulics. My issue is the 3 Point doesn't maintain where I set it, or in other words it sags down after a few mins of operation. Could someone point me in the right direction on what to check?

Two possibilities.

Worn piston seals or leaking 3pt valve.

Is your 3pt valve lever really in neutral?

Would you have a hydraulic schematic that I could reference or an operational instruction set for the 3 point lever? Honestly, I'm guessing here!!!
