Mystery solved. See my post above with tag. Cav 3233f661. Now I just need to source an upper linkage plate assembly and two of those spline adapter bolts and I can reassemble and bench test. Thank you.Hmmmmmm. I guess I'm clueless also. There's no way the regulating piston could get into the body unless someone picked off the floor and put it in there. Or there's more parts missing. The piston is part of the fuel inlet stack.
Does the pump still have a tag on it. I was guessing it to be a mechanically governed model DPA pump. But, just a guess. I couldn't tell by your pictures.
I normally reference a manual when going through such components, but not in this case thus far. Does anyone know if the bolts need lockwashers or locktite blue maybe?... or were they just not torqued properly probably?Mystery solved. See my post above with tag. Cav 3233f661. Wow! Stunning restoration! Thanks for sharing. --bradNice tractor!
You may want to send "thepumpguysc" a Private Message and see if he can help with parts and/or assembly. My 3910 came with a new pump when I bought it. All I've done is replace a couple of gaskets and copper seals to stop a minor leak.
I just completed a re-paint on the 3910. Don't even have many pictures yet but here's the pump side. It's the same tractor in my Avatar but when I bought it. It stayed ugly for a long time--About 10 years.
