Ok here goes after setting the idle on my tractor to 750 rpms, and lettng it run it wants to creep back up from 750 to around 1200 rpms as it sits and when shutting throttle off it doesnt always go back to idle you have to open and shut the throttle a few times before it will. It will start fine. Others said it could be the governor but I know nothing about the governor. What can you tell me about it and how to go about seeing whats wrong with it. Are there adjustments that can be made? The I&T manual I have is really vague on the governor. Thanks

3 cyl or 4 cyl. gas or diesel need to know first before u can get any help
Anybody know how to go about trouble shooting the governor. The pics in the repair manual I have are far from adequate and I dont know anything about the way it is supposed to look. By the way, I do know the governor on mine is the one with 2 arms. thanks
