Ford 1720 Rear axle seal

I have a1995 Ford 1720. On the rear wheel shaft I have a lot of fluid leaking out. I purchased Part #10, ball bearing seal, off the parts diagram below. I have removed the 4 bolts out of part#9 and have that cover free from the main body of the axle case where it spins on the shaft. I assumed the wheel shaft would then come out to be able to get to the seal I need to replace, but my assumption seems to be wrong.

Looking for any kind of help. Do I have to remove the main case, part #1, to replace the seal?

You sure do. Then you disassemblethe axle assembly. See the nut (#20) on the inboard end of the axle shaft?
