Hello Ya'll, I started doing a little sand blasting today and started on the swing arm's, and can see the ball joint's in the end of each arm (lower) are worn out, can't really tell by looking how to replace them, I see there are stub's offered that you cut off end and weld new end on (kinda pricey-I don't have a 220 welder) and there are just ball w/sleeve replacement, but I can't find any info about wich type I need or how to, Thank's for any advise !!!!!!

The ones that come out have a horizontal slit in the lift arm. the ball is rotated sideways, 90 degrees from where it "works" and slides out. Those would be built in that configuration. The others, non replaceable, and I have a tractor with new ends PO put on, are as you say, chop off the ball plus about an inch and weld on new.

Thanks Texas, I will look closer tomorrow-but pretty sure mine are the one's that will have to be cut off and new end's welded on, dang I have regreted getting rid of my old 220v welder, Maybe I'll see what a cheaper 220v stick welder run's, geez to weld on 2 end's on both lift arm's they would prob charge 1/2 price of a cheap box welder ??? I have a 110v mig,,,but that won't come close...
