I am trying to change the oil in my Ford 1700 fuel injector pump, but can't remove the fill plug/breather cap to pour in the oil. The cap does not screw off--it just spins when I twist it. I tried lifting it up, then twisting it, but it still just spins. I also tried to gently pry it off with a screwdriver, but was afraid I would bend it if I forced it off. Anyone know how to remove the cap? Thanks in advance for the help.
