Hello, I hope this post isn't too redundant, but I did do quite a bit of searching before posting. Not exactly sure I am using the right language though so I am asking here.

I have an old hay wagon with a hoist. It is a single acting cylinder and my tractor currently has a loader installed. Is it ok to use the loader valve to operate the dump hoist? Or should I install another valve for this function? If the latter, any help on how it would need to be plumbed would be great.

Thanks,
Joe

If your loader has a float position you shouldn't have any issues with using the down circuit . The only thing would be is you won't have any speed control of the drop on your hoist unless you plumbed in a flow control valve.
Hope this helps.
