This has been an issue since I got the tractor last year.
I have replaced the alternator, battery along with both cables and regulator and still get no charge across the battery.
I've checked continuity across all the wiring and it all looks good.
If I disconnect the BAT lead on the alternator, I get 34v on the post, but as soon as the lead is connected, I just get the battery voltage there.
Could the stater solenoid have a short internally that would cause this? Everything is operating fine except for charging.
