Hello group,

I have a Ford 1220 compact tractor. I am relatively new to this machine, having only owned a lawn tractors before this.

I want to buy a 715a snowblower for the front. I found one at a tractor dealer in Iowa. I was hoping to get a head start on getting the tractor ready to run this implement while we are sorting out the freight.

I understand I need a front hydraulic remote. Do I also need a valve? Or is the valve mounted on the implement like a bush hog loader?

Are these parts still available from New Holland? I was told that Bush Hog makes what I need. Can anyone advise further what I need to buy and install. I would also like to add a rear remote so I can have a dumping trailer, Ideally they could all be installed at the same time.

Thanks in advance.

I run front hydraulics on my TN. They are just hoses run from the rear hydraulic ports.

As Andy said.. if you have a rear remote.. you can just plumb it forward.

if your snowblower needs more valve function than the DA remote.. then it will need a compatible valve.. find out if it can use the da remote.. or if it comes with it's own valve.

if you don't have a remote.. price one.. last time I did at cnh they were going for about 700$!!
