Ew! Reminds me of the scene in Total Recall when they fell down the mountain.

That's great, I'll add it to my list of useful facts.

Here's another one: 1600, 2000, 2400 are leap years. 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2200, 2300 are not leap years.
and another: September 1752 in the US, Canada and England had only 19 days. Other parts of the world switched in other years.

And one that I remember from MAD Magazine in 1961. It is the last "upside down year" for a long, long, time.

And Russia didn't swap until in the 1920's IIRC, been a long time since I studied Russian. That's why the October Revolution actually happened in Nov.

My cousin was born 6 months prematurely, he believed it for a few years.....
Was bad form in the early 50's

Fact I never knew. I needed a certified copy of my birth certificate, On it was a block to be checked "ligitimate Yes No. Mine is checked yes so I have definite proof that I am not the ******* that people call me.

<snert> Yeah, both my Mum & Dad were first-born 'premature' births (1930s). :)

It was amazing how fast people could count on their fingers as soon as a newly wed bears fruit.
