Backhoe Folding ROPS when using B4672A backhoe

I am considering the purchase of a B4672A backhoe for my 1998 B2400HSD. The tractor already has the LA351 Loader and subframe. I do not have the mid mount mower.

I have been told the addition of the backhoe requires a folding ROPS. My tractor did not come with one. I'm not sure any B series tractors came with folding ROPS back them.

Do I really need one?

One might fit from a newer tractor but they did offer a taller one non-folding. Depending on how much digging you are going to do many just dodge the roll bar and get by.
