FOLDING ROPS RATTLE

My 3710 has a folding rops which has a annoying rattle at the
hinge point,put on a canopy,the rattle is worse,Any thoughts
besides wedging paint sticks in front of the hinge?

My dealer warned me of possible loosness on the folding ROPS before I bought my 3710 last year. You should have a threaded bolt at the hinge point on the folding ROPS. Remove the cotter pin and tighten the threaded bolt until the ROPS folds kind of stiffly. This is what my dealer did when he sold me the tractor and I have not had any looseness or rattle. Hope this helps.

Thanks radman,Ill give that a shot,I love the teltrax canopy
that I got from carver,what I didnt consider is that with the folding rops which is great for extra clearance is unusable due to the canopy which would increase the height by 3 feet
while folded,O-well,SHIFTY

Hmmm, a canopy with a folding ROPS...

Pull the cotter pin on the pivot bolt. Tighten the nut a bit. Drive it around a bit. If the rattle is gone, stick a pair of new cotter pins in there and you're done.
