Folding ROPS info....

Island's post reminded me of something. My tractor has the mid folding ROPS. When i pulled into my neighbors barn, i pulled the pin(singular because the other one was MIA) and folded the thing back. Guess what, if 'ya have a Sunshade it's taller folded than up /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif! For those of you that need to fold these things down to fit in a garage you may want to get the low- point folding ROPS...that is if you plan on having a Sunshade.

I usually recommend to customers that if they have to fold the roll bar to get it in somewhere, don't bother with a sunshade (on CK's). Even with the lower folding ROPS it's almost as high folded down as it is up and the extra weight of the low-folding ROPS and the Sunshade makes it real tough to put it back in "usable" position.

check out www.tufftop.net for a removable sunshade that comes off in seconds. Take it off with no tools when you need to fold your ROPS down.

Looks like a nice product. Anyone know whether the 44 or 48 inch version is best for the CK20?? From the webpage it looks like the smaller one is for subcompacts/lawn mowers but the larger one is demo'd on something bigger than the CK20 so it is tough to tell.
