Speaking of jacks; this isn’t a floor jack but looks like it would be real handy to keep in the truck toolbox:

Does the off road jack roll ok on gravel so it doesn't pull the jack away from the vehicle when you are raising it like the small solid wheel jacks tend to do?

With the bigger wheels tends to pull the jack under the lift. Ground condition and weight that could vary. The rear wheels don’t swivel but the pump handle locks to raise the front wheels to maneuver. Little different from other jacks.

I bumped this thread because I'm considering getting one for my nephew that will likely do some auto work outside.

He has 2 vehicles. A 1999 F350 4x4, and a newer Honda Insight.

A little extra height, as well as that jack extension might be handy for the F350. However, the Honda Insight is tight underneath.

3 Ton (6,000 lbs) should be enough for jacking 1 corner of the f350.

I've been reasonably happy with a Pittsburgh 3T aluminum jack.

However, I find myself frequently throwing a non-OSHA approved wooden block on it to lift.

So, the Badland jack may well be slightly better for the taller pickup, but not as good for the Honda.

The Pittsburgh 3T Aluminum jack is rated for 3 3/4" to 19 1/8".

The Badland jack is rated for jacking from 6 1/4" to 29 1/16" (I assume including the extension for the high measurement).

There are a few companies that sell similar jacks on Amazon. However, perhaps the biggest competitor to the Badlands is Pro Eagle.

Definitely some similarities between the Badlands and the Pro Eagle. But, at twice the cost.
