Another "Doomsday" plane flew over this morning. Left Robbins AFB south of Macon, GA going northeast. When it got over the Del/Mar/Va peninsula it turned WNW and eventually landed at Wright-Patterson AFB outside of Dayton, OH.

Late last week I saw this thing off the coast of NC/SC.

I had no idea there were private aerial refueling contractors.

Of course who/whatever they're training with won't squawk.

Then today there was this one.

I have seen Omega since I started "watching" the flights. At least a year or two. I always see them flying offshore and it looks like they are based at Myrtle Beach, SC since they always seem to be down that way and using the airport.

The US has contracted out flight refueling and adversary aircraft. The adversary planes seem to be flying out of Kinston, NC. I have seen A4s, Mirages, and Kifir's. Sometimes, I see a Lear jet flying patterns offshore. I assume they are either watching the exercises or maybe providing some sort of simulated attack/response.

Lots of interesting stuff going on offshore. And usually you can't see the real fighter aircraft, just the adversary planes, AWACs, tankers, drones, etc.
