We have problems around here with locust thorns. I've used slime in the tires on my JD 455 with good results. Haven't put any in the MF yet but will if I have problems. I think the slime or similar products will not be as expensive as filling the tire with foam. Good luck.

Don't have locust thorns, but the chestnut husks were hard on my 2230 front tires. Used the green slime on them and never had another leak. Haven't put the new 3030 thru the husks yet. I'll let the beat up craftsman take the brunt of the abuse this year!:D
