Flat tire

Uggh. Got a flat tire already. Small nail put me out of service for a couple of days but looking to get back in the saddle tomorrow night.

couple of days? Ouch! My dealer has there own tire service truck so they are quite a bit faster.

Agree, this is a simple, effective, inexpensive fix that everyone should have in their tool kit.

I' ve had two in the front of the 2030 so far this year, both in the same day. I was driving back to the barn and notice it was steering funny, the right front was soft. Pulled it took it to the shop and repaired it. Next day I took it back and installed it and saw the left front was flat

AT LEAST IT WAS NOT A REAR!

I use those cheap plug kits that you drive in from the outside of the tire. I cut the cord off close to the tread height than I burn the excess off( I don't think its need). I also use green slim, but I'm not sure if I like it anymore as its messy when actually change tires.
I don't do these fixes on vehicle or trailer tires as its unreliable, but for low speed tires I feel its fine.

Nope, I do not. I should get one plus a lesson on how to do it. Luckily, my cousin has a large farm with a FT mechanic and he can fix almost anything for me. For him, it was a 5 minute fix. It only took me about 10 minutes to take it off and put it back on. No big deal really. Worked like a charm tonight, got a lot of mowing done.
