I notice on the BX tractors that the loader hydraulics have changed to flat faced connectors, all connected with one throw of the lever.

On this forum, one of the first trouble shooting recommendations is to connect and reconnect the fittings. A close second is to swap connections to see if the issue moves.

How does that square with the flat faced connectors? If you have one that is not "connecting", how do you find it? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am an old dinosaur and sometimes I think that some of the newer improvements really aren't. Snapping on four color coded connectors just doesn't seem like something needed simplification.

My new (to me) tractor has a single point coupler for the loader hydraulics and I love it. I can actually install or remove the entire loader in less than 5 minutes. Its so easy that I actually do install and remove it depending on what I doing. On my other tractor with individual couplers, I have only removed the loader once in 19 years, mostly because it's just a pain to do it. Half the improvement is the mount to the tractor, but the other half is definitely the single point hydraulic coupler.
