I use something like those for my porta power. Will connect under pressure.

What is the flow rate?
They leak a little when disconnected attracting dirt and are hard to keep clean.

Flat face connectors common with construction equipment. Easy to keep clean and flow to bigger hydraulic components.

I have 7 pairs of flat face quick couplers on equipment that is shared. So cost is a concern. Plus other connectors that need help sometimes.

Had a winged screw together under pressure quick couplers for a Kubota trencher boom. Nice but special order, 3-4x$$ of flat face QC.

Many options to sort to find what works best for you.

I have flat faced couplers for the backhoe and unless the pressure is practically zero, it’s impossible to couple them. Implements often builds pressure in the sun by a slight amount which isn’t a problem at all with the Summit couplers. To keep the ends clean, I simply screw the implement ends together. On the tractor, there are dust covers that I use.

It’s rated for 10,000 psi. I don’t know the flow rate but there was no difference when I switched.

Only way Id ever consider flat face couplers are the ones designed to actually connect under pressure
