Flashlight

I was given an LED Lenser h7 and a couple of years later, the battery compartment cracked. I contacted them to get a new compartment and they sent me a new LED Lenser h7.2. I believe they are the same people that make the Leatherman tools and they're guaranteed the same. To me, they are a must have working on chainsaws or the tractor and most anything else. Won't be without one.

If that headlamp was a gift, that nice one at $50.00+$$$, but it does look like a well made headlamp.

I honestly can not understand why people buy such obsolete flashlights for large sums of money when you can get one of the best flashlights on the market, delivered to your home for only $5.43. But hurry, the sale ends in 5 hours.
CREE XM-L T6 1-LED 38LM 5 Modes Zoom LED Flashlight STH-485135 - TinyDeal

The light is $5.50 now so I thought that was still a good price so I bought 2, plus since you gave it ten thums up, 10 stars out of 5, and you said it's one click on, you talked me into it. Nice to have a couple walk around flashlights that's bright and fits in my pocket, now I'll price the batteries you recommended.

Tallyho talked me into buying one too. At $5.43, I won't be too upset if it doesn't live up to his review.

Christmas gift, I'd never pay that much for a light. I called their contact # and explained that I had no receipt, no problem guaranteed for life and I think they had me send the old one in, it's been a while and you know old memory. Now that I know how useful they are I would buy another one if I had to.

I bet the flashlights are pretty good. I bought several of the CREE XML-T6 LED flashlights on ebay a couple years ago. All still work as good as when I got them. The UltraFire Z5 is a nice bright flashlight that can be focused from flood to spot. Just don't believe the 6000-8000 lumens propaganda. With a little internet research you find out the CREE XML-T6 LED powered by two 18650 batteries is only capable of up to 1000 lumens at best and I don't think they are near that. My UltraFire WF-501B's are bright for a small, single 18650 battery flashlight. but not the 1000+ lumens advertised. The Z5 flashlights are our go to flashlights when we go outside at night. We use them every week and never had a problem with any of them.

I went with protected 3400mAh Panasonic 18650s made in Japan. I have bought them from these sellers 2 years ago and the batteries are still working great.

Orbtronic sells quality chargers that wont break the bank. I have an Xtar VP1 from Orbtronic.

There is no need to buy those expensive batteries and chargers for your flashlight. I have bought several different brands of cheap 18650 batteries and chargers and never had problems with any of them. The 5000 mAh give you light much longer than the 3400 mAh batteries.

I have bought many of these flashlights and batteries for my use and as excellent Christmas gifts and everyone has been quite satisfied with them.

Why would you pay $15.84 for one of those expensive 3400 mAh batteries with shipping when you can get 4 18650 5000 mAh batteries and a charger for only $8.89?

Amazon changes their prices very often but at this time these 4 batteries and charger and shipping are only $8.89.

DISCLAIMER: Although I have probably bought over 40 of these flashlights, chargers and batteries in the last few years and never had a problem, there are hundreds of sellers in China and I would not be surprised if occasionally one of them sells defective products but I would rather take the chance on a low priced item than on a similar high priced item.

PS: Some people refuse to buy these flashlights because they are cheap but if you want an expensive one, I can give you links to places that sell these exact same flashlights, chargers and batteries for 10 times as much as the ones I gave links to.

Well, I just ordered this deal from Amazon, with free prime shipping. It comes with the rechargeable Lithium battery and charger and a 3 aaa cell adaptor also and a carrying case for all of it for $12.98. All I will say is you are one heck of a flashlight salesman, I think you have sold several just this morning...:D

I'm still a fan of the mini Mag-Lites, especially the newer LED models. I also still have one of the 6-D-cell full-size Mags from the '80s. However, my oldest Stepson recently showed me a mini tactical light he had which I found quite impressive. It's the Bushnell Pro. It's tiny, and throws out way more light than something it's size should. It'll light up a large room. Wife and I both carry one in our vehicles, and I have one at the nightstand as well. $15 at WallyWorld.

Sometimes you need a light that will light up your gate 1/2 mile away, like many of those mentioned here. You probably aren't worried about battery life.

Other times you need just enough light to work by, but you need the batteries to last for a very long time, maybe weeks in a long power outage.

Flashlights need more dimming options than just one dimmer setting.
