Flashing fuel gauge

I have an SA-221 and I believe that the fuel gauge is flashing due to a rat chewing the wires off of the fuel level sensor. Does anyone know what is involved in replacing the sensor and does a new sensor just plug in somewhere (I am a paraplegic so I am searching for information before I try to get someone to help me with this). Also any suggestions on the best place to order new parts?

Have someone inspect the wires for a potential repair. I had to repair the headlight connections in my Charger after pricing replacements. One can do wonders with a solder gun and a little heat shrink tubing.
