Flashing blk square lights

My dashboard hr is flashing blk squares up and down. What does that mean

Do you mean the small squares on the hour meter? That just means the hour meter is working and counting hours. Only counts when the engine is running.

If its an hour glass looking thing, it does that when the engine is running and the hour meter is counting, pretty sure..

It's on the left side of the hrs next to I a box thst has a x in it

I have never noticed that before. Lately when I start it cold white smoke has been coming out the front of the engine. Then it clears. Someone told me to put a gas treatment a o I did. It's at a job site now otherwise I would of sent u a video.
