Oil & Fuel Fixing that BX Fuel Tank Leak over LH Tire

So whats the final solution to fixing the LH Gas Tank leak. Are the fuel sending kits K2561-96140 fixing this problem? Also do you have to remove the Roll Bar to get to the top of the tank?

As I recall, my initial investigation to find out what was leaking showed that removing the ROPS was necessary. Additionally I think I removed the fender. Those were easy things to do. I did not install "The Fix" because I traded-in the BX2200 that exhibited the problem. If you do a search about the fuel tank leak I would imagine that you'd find quite a bit more info.

The kits I have installed, have fixed the problem. You do need to remove the ROPS and left fender to get to it.

Went into the dealer today and I was going to ask for the part free but they said to bring the tractor in and they will fix it for free parts and labor. I justed purchase it used (BX 1800) yesterday so that may have something to do with it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

part is cheap and nothing to fix. The major pain is getting to it.
About 1 to 1.5 hours job.
