A couple years ago I bought a hydraulic top link for my Branson 4720CH from Brian at Fit Rite Hydraulics, a provider that I discovered in this forum. When I first installed the link I told Brian that I was having trouble stopping the ram at the correct position. He rushed me (free of charge) some smaller restrictor valves which solved the problem.
Recently a seal began to leak on the ram. I emailed Brian to see if I could purchase a replacement seal. He insisted on rushing a seal set to me right away free of charge. When I went to change the seals I ran into some challenges in getting the cylinder apart, and later in inserting one of the seals. Both times Brian replied to my questions and gave useful advice of how to proceed with the repair, both times within an hour of when I emailed him. He made what would have been a frustrating task easy. The top link is back working again as good as new. If you are ever buying a hydraulic top or side link I would highly recommend Brian. It isn't often these days you find such quality people to do business with.

nice write-up, thanks for pointing out a good experience. We all hear about the bad stuff, wonderful to hear this.
Will remember this if I ever have issues with my top 'n tilt on the Kubota.
Sure is nice to have someone have your back, right?

I, also, have a Fit Rite hydraulic top link. An excellent product from a fair and honest source.

It is easy to agree with what Cougsfan says.

In 2011 I was looking to install a Top-n-Tilt on my little L3010. There was a dealer unit and other 3rd party units available that fit multiple tractors. They all had side links with very restricted and unsymetrical travel. Then I emailed Brian. He had not previously done an L3010 at that time. With a little back and forth with photos and drawings he built a side link cylinder for me that gave me almost twice the travel I could get from the other units and I had symetrical blade angle on both sides. It required tight control of the dimensions and angle of the ball end on top and a special bottom clevis. It came out perfect. They have been on the tractor since operating w/o a hitch.

Where else can you get that kind of work done anymore ??

It's tough in the forums sometimes because people are quick to post when something breaks down or something goes wrong but its more rare when people share their good and positive experiences.

I too have T-N-T from Brian/Fit Rite Hydraulics, and any minor issues have been taken care of in a timely and professional manner by Brian. He understands the needs of the tractor owner and the function of the tractor's implements and hydraulics; which IMHO, are not easy to get right without extensive knowledge of what one wants/needs to do with their machine. I too endorse Brian for any tractor owner who wants their tractor to function to the best of it's potential.

I'm on on my 2nd set of FitRite gear (3 spools & TnT ran off with the old L3200). Took a while for the new cylinders for my L4060 to make it here, but they were orders of magnitude better than the 3 fails from my dealer that didnt fit close to right and/or leaked. My toplink developed a pinhole after a year or so out of the blue. He had the warranty replacement here in a week (really need to get the original shipped back, but have been slacking).

I plan on FitRite again if I ever have need.

I know this Thread a year old BUT I just contacted Brian @ Fit Rite, he responded with information on what I asked about and a suggestion for an alternate setup that could save money in the future.

His System for the Max28, uses the BH Hydraulic Connections to operate the Cylinders, luv that... his customer service is great !

I am waiting on a quote for a simple TnT two-valve rear system, which is expandable if needed, going to start slow and expand if needed.

As I said, His Customer Support is far beyond what is available on line anywhere I have shopped, and just the fact of his patience, gave me a confidence in him.

Hoping to secure a Fit Rite System for my Tractor soon.
